In 2005 one of the oldest family-owned companies in New Orleans, the Sazerac Company decided to re-release Sazerac Rye Whiskey after a 116 year absence. This Legendary American Whiskey is distilled, and aged for over 6 years at the highly awarded Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each product is hand-bottled and packaged in the original 1800’s style bottle.

The nose includes sun dried peaches and spice with a hint of caramel and huge burst of cinnamon spice. The finish is fruity and sweet at first with a dash of spice, wood oak and caramel.
