FAQ

How do I start a course?
First you’ll need to login and create an account. You can do this from the signup tab at the top of each page. Once you have created an account you can navigate to the Education tab and select the course you’d like to start. We recommend starting with the foundation courses first.

I started a course but I didn’t finish it. How do I get back to where I left off?
There are two ways to do this. Firstly you’ll need to Login to your account.

  1. Go to my account at the top of the home page, scroll down and you’ll see all your course achievements. Select the module you’d like to start again and you’ll pick up right where you left off.
  2. Go to Course page and click the course that you’d like to re-start. This will open the introduction page, at the bottom of the introduction page, click the ‘Take Course’ button. You’ll see a list of Modules with completion percentage. Click the module you’d like to continue to work on and start right where you left off.

How long do courses take to finish?
This depends on a few factors but we’d generally like to think that most people can complete a foundations level course in under 20 minutes and an intermediate course in under 2 hours.

What am I going to receive when I complete a course?
We provide a downloadable PDF certificate unique to the FDM. This outlines the basics of what the course covers and who instructed the course.

I can’t see the education modules on offer. Where are they?
Before you create an account, the modules are listed as courses once you click the courses tab. Click Courses and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you’ll see them displayed prominently on the page. Once you’ve created an account and logged in, go to the Courses tab at the top of the page and scroll down to find the level of course – kick-start, intermediate and advanced. Select the course that’s right for you. *You must complete kick-starter before progressing
