Come Fly With Me
As with most cocktails, there are a few variations of the recipe. Here’s my twist and entry for Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin 2019 using local ingredients here in Geelong.
- Maraschino Liqueur infused with pepper berry
- Homemade Créme de Violette
- Lemon juice
- Step 1
Shaken and fine strained into a chilled Nick & Nora Glass. Garnish with a sprig of Lavender.

The journey of spices starts with Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin. Packed with spices from along the Orient’s ancient spice route. I’m using wild pepperberries found here in Geelong Otways and infused it with Maraschino Liqueur. Hence it enhance the spice that you’ll find in the Opihr Gin. My homemade Crème de Violet is made with violet petals, lavender, sugar syrup, orange and lemon peel, and vodka. Giving herbal and citrus notes with floral contrast.- Indra Saryani
