Sidecar

Created by

Created by Harry at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris after WW1 for an eccentric Captain who would turn up at the bar in a  chauffeur-driven motorbike sidecar. It is possibly derived from the Brandy Crusta.

It’s combination of a spirit with citrus juice and orange liqueur is said to be the precursor of many sour-style drinks, including the Margarita, the Kamikaze, and the Cosmopolitan.

The use of different brandies will influence the character of the drink.
